&lt;p&gt;Most probably nothing to do with the tube. &lt;p&gt;My LX5500 has a curious image since a few days. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On the upper side , 1/3 of the screen has&amp;nbsp; vertival wawes, the rest of the screen is good.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;People have amazing heads !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is it the announcement of its death&amp;nbsp; ? &lt;/p&gt;
