Many thanks, I'll look into upgrading and getting the service manual - might be the way to go here.

Bit of a shot in the dark, but I was wondering if anyone knew if the B&O 4500 master amp has an internal fuse or perhaps a power relay that could have got stuck? It has been working perfectly for two + years, I went away for a two week holiday, turned it off from the wall socket power so the whole system was compeletly off (something I hardly ever do) came back, switched it on, and nothing. Dead, no usual click as it switches into standby, no red lights behind the glass of each of the units. I checked the plug socket fuse and power is going in, which made me think perhaps it could be a stuck relay or perhaps the unit has an internal fuse. Any suggestions would be greatfully received... the mystery is it was working fine, was not touched, and then I simply switched the power to it on the main wall socket and nothing...

Regards

Jon
