&lt;p&gt;First thing would be to replace the capacitors in the power supply module, especially the ones&lt;br /&gt;on the small center board. It&amp;#39;s very common to see these fail by now and any ripple and/or&lt;br /&gt;instability here will keep the tuner silent. A capacitor kit exists for this model.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am new to the forum. Glad I found it &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/21.gif" alt="Yes -  thumbs up" /&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have a Beocenter 3300 with S75 speakers, which my parents bought in 1979. The system hasn&amp;#39;t been used in 20 years, although my mother bought an mmc20s in the late nineties to replace the cartridge which had been broken since the late eighties (!).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;First time I powered it up, only the lights went on. I tried to play a record, but there was no sound. Radio dito. Then, on second try, the record played beautifully. I tried two more records and everything seemed fine. I went on to the fourth record, and again, no sound at all. Radio doesn&amp;#39;t do anything either, even no static. Radio lights are on though.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Speakers are fine, I tried them on another amplifier.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anybody in a similar situation? Thanks in advance!&lt;/p&gt;
