You can select whichever input/function required using the manual buttons behind the drop down front panel. For any radio reception at all you MUST connect something to the ariel socket at the back, even a piece of wire should do for testing purposes.

the "P" is for radio Program ... that is, the [STORE] is taking the current tuning frequency (MW, LW, or FM) and wanting to now assign a number to it so you can recall it

Do you have one of the two controls that supports the Beomaster ?

Either the Terminal 5000 or the Master Control Panel 5000 ?

I strongly recommend you take up a Gold membership to Beoworld ... you will be automatically registered in the monthly raffle ... and you will also have access to scanned copies of the manuals in the Product section of the Beoworld site

Hello!

I'm new to this forum and B&O products in general, i recently bought beomaster 5000 and RL60 together on ebay for a cheap price. But when buying it, no cables/connections or manual came with it. Now i got all cable and connections for aux and turntable, but i can't get the beomaster to work, whenever i plug it in there's a tiny dot on the screen, and when i press "store" it starts blinking "P". I have been searching a lot on the internet on how to make it work, also a lot on this site, but i cant find any solutions. help!
