&lt;p&gt;I wouldn&amp;#39;t blame the belt as the first thing, I think I would concentrate on&lt;br /&gt;the motor and speed setting mech., cleaning and lubricating.&lt;br /&gt;Will it run faster as it warms up a bit (10-20 minutes) ?&lt;br /&gt;Have you losened the (three) transport safety screws ?&lt;/p&gt;
