&lt;p&gt;I just need the IR mini plug cabel with a blue LED before I can test it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Trying it&amp;nbsp;at this point for BM8000 gives nothing. No light in the Sensor either.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m going to my B&amp;amp;O dealer soon to see if they can help me with that Ir cabel.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Yes i have the manual&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Yes i have set the swith as it was mentioned in the manual&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;and yes, the left and right speacker socket are where they should go&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have you set the blue switch corectly? You don&amp;#39;t need the power supply for the 5000 so drop it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Are the Left and right speaker sockets on the cable&amp;nbsp;where they should go?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have a beomaster 5000 and recently got&amp;nbsp; an IR Code converter to use the beomaster with BL1000.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But&amp;nbsp; it doesn&amp;#39;t work.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Should the Link eye have a little red light on when all is connected ? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I tried to add a powersupply ( it&amp;#39;s usually &amp;nbsp;not needed with the&amp;nbsp;BM5000), but this changed nothing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I know this is old stuff, but perhaps can someone help &lt;/p&gt;
