&lt;p&gt;The line out connector is 5 pin DIN, and really it isn&amp;#39;t good enough quality, you do notice the differance when you take the line output through another amp of similar power to the 2000K own amp. This is just down to the leads and connectors.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If the connectors are cleaned and good quality leads are used, along with a good amp that has good quality input connectors then you will be impressed.&lt;/p&gt;

However it does also have a normal line out so it will attach to the 1200. The 2000 cannot be stood upright unlike the later 1200/1600.
