&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m sure that the first Beolit 707 didn&amp;#39;t carry&amp;nbsp;serial number 1 so there must be another explanation.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Very interesting though I am a bit sceptic regarding the serial number.&lt;br /&gt;They are normally somewhere around&amp;nbsp;the 1610000-1620000 range for the Beolit 707&amp;#39;s and&lt;br /&gt;B&amp;amp;O only used the serial number 1 once, and that was back in 1925 or so.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A photo of the number would be great to see if possible.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you are to offer it for sale in this forum then minimum silver membership level is required to post it in the sales section.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;These are definately sought after radios although I&amp;#39;m&amp;nbsp;not sure of the significance of the serial number as I&amp;#39;m no expert but if it is&amp;nbsp;the first one made&amp;nbsp;then it will definately add to the collectability and HERE is the place to offer it to a serious collector. If it is simply a standard issue item then ebay is the best place to gain the best price. Ensure you have a good description &amp;amp; photo&amp;#39;s and that it is listed in the correct sections of ebay.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would be surprised if it sells for less than &amp;pound;100 if all the parts are intact &amp;amp; original.&lt;/p&gt;
