&lt;p&gt;Ok not directly, as that board is &amp;nbsp;only for TAPE2 and the pre-amp in/out, but as you have wires off and a cracked board just above where &amp;nbsp;all the output transistors are....it points to damage elsewhere.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;have had a good look around and found these 3 wires the red, brown and orange wires are not connected to the inputs at the back around the tape 2 phono inputs. Could this be a reason for switching off?? Or is it a red herring??&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;my beocenter has started just switching off after 3 seconds after any selection of ph TP or P1 - P6. Everything lights up then click switches off!! Has it died or can it be fixed??&lt;/p&gt;
