I used a &amp;#39;cold&amp;#39; fabric dye. Though I took the fabric of the frames and put them through a washer first as the dye sometimes will not stick on the dirty fabric otherwise and turn out blotchy.&lt;/p&gt;

Has anyone tried using fabric dye or similar to return speaker frets to fully black?&lt;/p&gt;
