Ok, i guess i just leave the connections the way they are then. I understood from the article, i mentioned, that in a BM 1100 it might be easier to skip the RIAA stage than it was in a BM 901.

You can skip the RIAA stage by moving a wire or two inside, which will
make the phono socket a line-level input.
The same can be done in all Beomasters but will require a technical
surgery of some kind.
It will, however, leave you with two tape inputs rather than two
phono inputs.
There's not two RIAA stages in either Beomaster.

Yes, my mixer has a pre-amplifier and it's connected to the tape socket at the moment. But the Beocentral's article suggests that you could connect both phono-level and line-level turntables to Bomaster 1100's phono socket. I know that the Beomaster 901 has this possibility but it requires some changes in the wiring. So, i was wondering if this is also possible in the Beomaster 1100 and would it be easier than in a BM 901.

Welcome to Beoworld !

If your mixer has a built-in RIAA module (pre-amplifier), you should connect its
output to the Tape socket of the Beomaster 1100
since this will be at line level rather than phono-level.

If your mixer does not have built-in RIAA, you will be connecting it
to the Phono input of the Beomaster 1100.

Your turntables will obviously have to interface with the mixer
rather than the Beomaster since this is where they are connected.

I have a Beomaster 1100 tuner/amplifier. I've connected two record players to its tape-input through a mxer at the moment. I red from the Beocentral pages that Beomaster 1100 had a phono input that would accept turntables with a magnetic pickup or turntables that have preamplifier.

So, could i connect my mixer to the phono input and do i have to change something in the input connections or is there a switch for this?
