Thanks Martin, that is pretty much how I thought it was, but I thought I would ask anyways.

When my next set of Red Lines arrives I can set about to replace the old busted ABR's in my current set with passive radiators.

I am looking forward to running the 2400 next to the 3000 and see for myself.

The RL60 will be fine for the Beomaster 2400 and certainly won't destroy anything.
The lower speaker impedance, the greater risk of damage.

After reading the rave reviews over the past several months from you seasoned Beoworlders I had no choice but to drink the Kool-Aid and go out and buy one of those things.

My question revolves around speaker impedances

I have 8 Ohm RL 60's. The specs state speaker impedence at 4-8 ohm.

However I notice most of you fans of the 2400 typically prefer the Uniphase series speaker for hookup.

My question is will Redlines at 8 ohm cause damage over time to the amp or create a lot of distortion? I suppose it at the very least will result in a little less power coming out say 30 down to 20 watts or something like that.
