However if someone really wants them, they will need to pay it, not you! The trumpet stands really are very sought after and they pack down to a very small size!

U70s are not that valuable and all have no covers now. I did get a pair with the leatherette intact which I photographed but the black flaked off as soon as they were touched!

Re: S-60's and a 1900....

Thanks Peter,

These speakers weigh a ton. The S60s with Trumpet stands are quite rare and the trumpet stands make them very desirable. These speakers are much the same as S75s and are lovely speakers and the trumpet stands are rare and very very fashionable - I have had a pair myself and rate them very highly. The 1900 is the first of the touch sensitive receivers and is also a classic. In the UK, I would expect a decent price for both if they are working.

I would seriously suggest putting them on eBay and attracting the best audience - you should get enough for at least a decent driver!

S-60's and a 1900....

I was given these wonderful electronics along with about 50 old records from the same era. Over the past 2 years I accumulated about 900 lps and have spent many hours out in the garage listening to the stuff I grew up with....and some stuff I missed along the way. I think I am done with this game.

I am now wanting to sell/trade/give to a good home this equipment. Some research has told me the 1900 is not worth much. But, I can't find much on the s60's. They have the resin backs and the trumpet stands.

After spending a couple of hours on this site, I realized there are some dedicated B&O guys out there. I would rather find a fan out there, than sell them at a garage sale.

Here's my proposal. I will sell them to any crazy, dedicated, outa their mind, raving fan for 1/2 of what they are worth, or I can trade for golf clubs. Or, if someone really gives me a "sob" story.....I will give them away.

These speakers are wonderful. I want them to happy. Do you have a happy home?

I can deliver anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area or I will be traveling to Los Angeles this Xmas.

This is my first post and I don't want to break any rules..... So, if this not cool...somebody let me know.
