&lt;p&gt;I remember 80&amp;#39;s speakers (especially Jamo&amp;#39;s) having aluminium slatted fins over the aluminium domed tweeters pointing down and across to prevent &amp;quot;beaming&amp;quot; - then no lenses, and now back to what B&amp;amp;O were doing 40 years ago &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/01.gif" alt="Smile" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

In Danish I think it was H&amp;oslash;jtonerundspreder. That would probably translate into something like hightone distributor. The Beovox 2500 cube was in a way its successor, as they both were designed as additional speakers for&amp;nbsp;dispersion of the higher frequencies. You should have bought it! B&amp;amp;O&amp;#39;s first foray into ALT technology! It is a separate omnidirectional tweeter - Frede has a pair. I think they are from the 50s. I attach a picture of one dismantled.
