It is still available from your dealer with good quality moulded plugs.

On the connecting cable, what you need is a good quality plug and a shielded cable. I cannot remember where I got mine from (I use it to attach my iPod dock to my 4400) but this site has some cables which look to be excellent quality - probably massive overkill! Make sure you get the correct one! They already sound amazing, however the speaker cable is patched together with sticky tape and I am sure it is the 'weakest link' in the system. Does anyone have any ideas on the best speaker cable to use for this. I guess I am stuck with the spade and pin male and female on each end of the cable. I do not want to hard wire the speakers with banana plugs to replace the spade and pin because the speakers are like new out of the factory! I have a lot of HitachiSSX-102k speaker cable spare, so I thought this would be good if I could get it connected properly to the Spade and Pin connectors. Any suggestions appreciated.

I am also looking for the best 5 pin din connector for the 4400 to connect to a PC 3.5" jack. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best quality cable?
