Thanks to Simon and Peter, I now have a new set of mapleshade golden helix speaker cables connecting my gear. An inexpensive, but significant improvement to what I had previously. Thanks again!

I have done it both ways, overall i would recommend buying ready made leads with moulded connectors.rather than mess around with adding your own connectors etc.
I got mine from iconic-av via eBay but they now have their own website:

They are 2 pin DIN connectors - you need one male and one female for each lead. Available from Maplin in the UK but try on the internet. B&O still sell made up leads.

I'm interested in replacing my speaker cables in a beomaster 4000 / beovox s45-2 setup. I have the speaker wire, but what I'm looking for are the connectors specific to my receiver / speakers setup. The connectors on the beomaster are the male / spade ones I occasionally can find on ebay, while the ones on the speakers are... well, more specific.

Does anyone know where one can get these connectors?
