If you are not experienced in fixing electronics though, I wouldn't do it yourself. Most of this age of electronics can be repaired by anyone with some knowledge of electronics as it is all at component level. They probably won't even need the manual as the 1200 is not that tricky to get apart and they will test the obvious bits first! They can always get the manual if they need it.

Re: Help

Hi!

Can i get the parts if this is the problem, Unfortunatley I am not quallified to establish

nor enter the product to check.!. I have no manual, or I might have a go!

regards Victor

Re: Help

my first guess for a piece, that hasn´t been used for 15 years, would always be dried out capacitors....

the beomaster has two big ones in for decoupling the speakers, perhaps the problem originates here?

good luck!

jens

Re: Help

Anyone?

Help

I have a Beomaster 1200, with a Beogram 1000 record deck, including original speakers. 1964/5

It has been boxed for 15 years, it is in very good condition. However. the amplifier is powering up

but no output to speakers, for anything. The deck works perfect. but no output to speakers.

All was working great at the time of being boxed. We bought a Hotel and could not use the unit.

I would love to think I could get it working again, it was a beautifull sound. Am I just dreaming,

must I just sell it for spairs??
