indeed! they are (at least) not the leds as suggested by my prev post/link.
-that would refer to the led readout section. -my bad.

I actually think that the displays for the Record etc are lamps - had a quick look at the service manual and can find everthing but the description of the bulbs!!

Hi everyone,

I first would like to thank God, that there is a site like this for B&O Forums, products, info etc.

My first experience with B&O was in the mid 70's I bought a Beomaster 2400 Amp. a pair of S45 speakers and a 1600 Beogram turntable.

It was love at first sight and sound . I have been hooked ever since.

I recently bought a Beocord HX 8002 from EBay and at first I really did not care if it worked or not, because it was in beautiful shape from the photos. The price that it went for is why I thought that it won't be working when it finally arrives. But I thought to my self I can always get it fixed. If I tell you that it works perfectly that would be an understatement, It works beautifully Evey function works great . The only problem is that the ( Open Record ) light and the ( Record light ) do not light up. All the other lights work perfectly.

So my question is this ? Is there something I can do to fix this problem. Are these bulbs or LED's or something else that light these two record modes up when you go to the ( record mode). Maybe someone out there has the answer for me.
