Sounds like it is the protection circuit working. I would check the speakers cables and make sure that there is no short or poor connection. Martin is obviously wondering about the load of the speakers - if they are both very difficult to drive, the amplifier will try to protect itself. I recently purchashed a Beomaster 2000 and after plugging in my second set of speakers I immediately lost some volume. I can not get the volume to go above 40 and when I keep trying to push it more the receiver turns off completely. &amp;nbsp;When using only one set of speakers everything works wonderfully.
