The rail itself seems glued on, and not replaceable...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I might be selling this machine (or the other one after swapping the faceplates), in which case I probably wouldn&amp;#39;t benefit from a spare - the Finnish people are notorious for not paying any premium for completeness, or condition in general for that matter &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/14.gif" alt="Devil" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If I decide to keep both, though, I might get back to you. Yes, it sounded quite excellent for a 40+ year old stereo receiver, but I had to turn the bass almost all the way down and the treble almost all the way up before it sounded balanced to me. Is it designed this way - perhaps to compensate for the characteristics of the internal speakers - or would it benefit from some upgrades?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The woodwork restoration on the 900K was a success anyway. I got completely rid of a flower pot mark and various scratches on the top, and the faceplate is clean as ever.
