Both sound good, but the S45 suffers from foam rot and the S45-2 doesn&amp;#39;t. Confusingly they both say S45 on the front but the S45-2&amp;#39;s have a type number of 6312 on the back and the frets at the front come in a single part and are not split into two.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have two pairs of S45-2&amp;#39;s that I&amp;nbsp;for a grand total of &amp;pound;32 for both pairs and I am delighted with them.
