A new CD deck won't cure this fault. Cleaning, lubrication and a fresh belt is what it takes. Do the cassette deck door too while you are at it.

The service manual is available for download for silver and gold members - well worth the membership fee. Going for gold will also include you in the monthly prize draw. well actually...mine is (still) working (fine)...but the opening of the door panel is making a squeaking noise for about 2 seconds and then stops.....

I'm afraid this might be the beginning of some issues.Must admit that reading on the net the forecast of a non reapairable cd player is not so convincing. But I might be just worrying too much

any idea how to solve the door/panel issue ? Is it easy accessible ?

Thanks

Re: Beocenter 9000

It is a CDM2 but modified for use by B&O.

What is wrong with yours?

Beocenter 9000

Hi All,

I've been searching this forum, but didn't exactly find the info I was looking for.Can anyone tell me the exact (philips) cd unit that is in the beocenter 9000/ I know it is nearly impossible to find, but would like to know what to look for. Thanks for your help.

Robin
