Not convinced I would wall mount the 2400 - the insides are fairly packed and putting screws through the base could be marginal. They did originally come with legs that allowed you to tip the receiver forward. Very rare to find a full set these days!

well in all honesty, i have yet to wall mount one myself (i have (7) of these currently -don't ask why -simply my personal fav). as it happens, i have (1) sitting right next to me on my office desk and (2) sitting behind me as i write this. i agree that it is a bit tight, particularly on the left side below the power supply -furthermore -the feet would likely have to be removed and the bosses do extend a bit out. however, it is definitely viable -it would just take some adjusting of the screw depths in the wall to get the proper engagement. [the screws would be in the wall / not the baseplate] i have a set of the "angle legs" -certainly another alternative for displaying -and they make in/out access a great deal easier!

anyone here have a wall mount install in place?

btw -something is ringing in the back of my head as i finish this that there may have been a factory wall plate for this intent??? hmmm...

There is a CD/Tape adapter which allows you to double up with the tape socket. Not convinced I would wall mount the 2400 - the insides are fairly packed and putting screws through the base could be marginal. regarding setup...

the beomaster, beogram, and the beovox speakers are wall mountable if that helps.

1.) on the back of the beomaster you will see the screw slots.

2.) there is a wall mount "plate" available to "float" the beogram on the wall (horizontally ;-) )

in fact -there was a recent thread on here -a fellow was going to re-manufacture some.

3.) the speakers have a factory wall kit available, but at this point (time) they will be nos or on ebay perhaps -i forget the part # -but as i have a pair (nos) -i can check for you. maybe someone here has a pair available???

reg'ing the 6000 -perhaps it could be "floated" similar to the beogram???

Hello again from Aberdeen - are there any other members from my home town?? Now that I have my B & O setup working ( 2 x S45-2 speakers, a Beogram 2400, a Beomaster 2400-2 and a Beocord 6000) OK it's vintage kit, but I'll tell you it knocks my previous setup into a cocked hat (Pioneer deck, NAD amp, Yamaha cd, Technics tape and AR speakers). The sound is so rich and detailed and such depth - I was pleasantly surprised........no - amazed,

Questions:-

1. any hints on the best way to setup the system - do I have to put up lots of shelving? - I mean due to the design, it won't stack on top itself.........or will it?

2. I want to couple up an Akai reel to reel, and a CD player, but the Beomaster only has 2 inputs, for the tape and the LP deck. Is there a junction box available????
