ive ordered the cable from Steve today

also, when you say it woud be 'better', do you mean in terms of sound quality?? or ease of use?....its just that to connect to the beoSound9000 i have to dig inot the plasrerwork abouve the fireplace and also hide cables behind fireplace which necessitates re-plastering the whole fireplace back inot the wall.....perhaps in retrospect it was not so wise to put the Beosound 9000 floating cableless above the mantle piece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

however...ill get there by hook or by crook:)

You need an additional DIN to Phono adapter so that you can use the sockets that would nomally be used by the Audio from a camera.

I suggest that you talk to Steve@soundsheavenly and tell him what you need to do.

It would of course be best if connected to the Beosound 9000

connect Beogram7000 to BV7-40 (MK4)

can i play my beogram7000 through my BV7-40 (Mkiv)...I have an male to female extention connection cable 7pin....but i dont know where this would plug inot on the back of the BV7-40.....(I cannot plug it into my Beosound 9000 as all the cabling is embedded in the wall! - would require a major building job!!!)

appreciate your help:)
