&lt;p&gt;Not sure of that myself but as these units are known to be plagued with drys then it is definately a good place to start! I am sure Martin will be able to&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Indeed, he&amp;#39;s the Master and so very nice to deal with too. &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/01.gif" alt="Smile" /&gt; I haven&amp;#39;t seen that on either my BG6006 or 8000, which were both DOA.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Caps and dry solder joints are always the starting points! Does the platter turn at all? &lt;p&gt;Just a quick question, is this a known indication (error code ?) of totally fried microprocessor or could it be just bad cap/soldering which could be mended with a cap kit and resoldering ?&lt;/p&gt;
