&lt;p&gt;Adjusting the slides is for the preset start positions for different size records.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thanks for a lot of help so far. However, I do have a small problem with my Beogram 4000 lifting the arm a little early on some 7&amp;quot; singles, not playing all of the music. On other 12&amp;quot; albums, it sometimes does not lift the arm when the album is finished. I tried adjusting one of the contact springs (&amp;quot;A&amp;quot; in the service manual), resulting in 7&amp;quot; records being played all the way and the arm lifting, but then it wouldn&amp;#39;t lift on 12&amp;quot; albums. Argh! Do you have any advice?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
