He&amp;#39;s using the later version Beogram 1800 with an MMC5 rebuilt by Axel. I was using this very table for a few years, pairing it with a Musical Fidelity V-LPS. I really like the V-LPS (so much that I still use it with my 8200), but now I&amp;#39;m wondering if my friend should consider the Cambridge Audio 640P. Has anyone tried this combo? Or is there another sub-$200 phono stage that&amp;#39;s sounds nice with Beograms, especially an 1800 or RX? &lt;/p&gt;
