I
figured that I might need to access it at a later date, so I used the
sticky tack rather than foam tape, and it really works well.
<>It's
a great pleasure to be a part of these forums. I am a recent collector,
and currently have a Beomaster 5000, Beocord 5000 and a CD50 all
controlled by a MCP5000, all eBay finds. I am enjoying all of them, and
was able to get some valuable information from this site. I have a
number of other peices as well, and will eventually have some set up in
another room.
body repair parts and paint. The tape is made by 3M and is used to
attach mouldings to the side of a car. It has a foam core and an
excellent adhesive, and worked very well on my 6006. Another problem is
the aluminum piece that surrounds the platter. It was also held on with
tape, but it needs to be removed for service. After I cleaned off the
old foam junk, I went to an office supply store and got some "sticky
tack", the stuff that you use to attach posters to walls. A few bits of
this are enough to hold the aluminum piece in place quite well, and it
is easy to remove it for service and re-attatch it.

Re: beogram 6006

andyt:

Hi

no problem. i dont want any money for it.
