Hehe, I was just wondering, they look quite odd as they weren't a part of the Danish catalogue. I am in plenty of MMC20-style carts for now, just buying cheap non-working Beograms (there is a surprising amount of Beogram 1902's over here) with fine carts if they are needed

I never saw a 10E for sale in the UK but it seemed to be the bottom of the range in the US replacing the 20S. In any case, it is a perfectly acceptable cartridge! Of course you can get Axel to replace the cantilever and make it whatever you want!

I have a UK price list from March 1982 that states that the Beogram 1700 came equipped with an MMC10E and it cost £99 all in. The list is from Nottingham Sound and Vision.

Simon may be correct, You see them on eBay over here from time to time. I seem to remember it was sold as a replacemnt cartridge from the late 80 into the 90's.

It was not part of the original series.

They look similar, the only difference being the plastic guard over the needle which is black instead of transperant.

I belive the MMC20 series were briefly sold as the MMC10 in the USA but they are basically the same cartridges.
