The Beomaster 1001 could be wall mounted and was available in white but I think the face is only in black. Was it this model that you had?

A beogram is a record player, my friend ;)

I think you had a Beomaster 1200, designed by Jacob Jensen, the best of B&O designers in my opinion. He designed nearly every B&O pruducts from ca. 1969 to 1987-8

I think it is most likely to be the Beomaster 1200

It is rather old today, it will probably need an overhaul to function like new, but it is surely a legendary and timeless design. They are considered a bit rare these days, but not entirely impossible to find. I believe that they are very average in performance and functions

Could have been a white Beomaster 1200 or 2000 series???

They do come up on eBay but whether they are mint will depend on your definition!

Apologies folks, but I'm a newcomer and a relevant B&O novice. Many years ago, I owned an exquisite Beogram (model name/number now unknown to me) which was rectangular, had a matt white casing and its top was a brushed aluminium giant slide rule, with its giant perspex cursor being the 'station finder'. I don't know who the designer was, but to my untutored eye, it was the most beautiful piece of indutrial design I had ever come across. I loved it dearly (it looked stunning hung vertically on an all-white wall in my apartment) and was heartbroken when I was burgled and the thieves took it.

Please can someone enlighgten me to a) its model number / name; b) do I stand any chance of picking up a mint-condition model now, or are they considered by you B&Oers to be gold dust?
