Obviously the Beogram 8500 is the one designed to match the Beocentrer 8500. As long as you use the PHONO connection there is a built in preamp (RIAA). There are other Beograms you could us, but avoid Beogram 3500, 4500, 6500 and 7000 as these have RIAAs fitted as standard.
