I thought that might be the case but am always cautious about forcing the issue...particularly when it is not my own system.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Always great to have such a good resource as Beoworld members who answer even the most simple questions (and now I can look like I know what I&amp;#39;m doing when I help him set it up!)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;While &amp;#39;fishing&amp;#39; for the transport screws for the beogram 2000 I lifted the platter (I&amp;#39;m more familiar with older beograms) the aluminium platter lifted off with the &amp;#39;subplatter&amp;#39; assembly (I hope this was supposed to happen). &amp;nbsp;This of course meant the belt was dislodged. &amp;nbsp;It looks like it will be quite a tricky job to replace the belt. &amp;nbsp;I&amp;#39;m going to help him set up the beogram in the next few days - is there an easy way to replace the belt or is the only access through the top of the beogram.&lt;/p&gt;
