Not recession related but must be that plus christmas coming up. A 6000 good condition with original cartridge went for &pound;70 recently. The only thing that was mentioned in the listing was that there were no speakers to test for sound. Yet, I have seen many faulty and not best cond. 400x go for &pound;70 at least this worked!!!</p> <p>A fully operational 4000 went for &pound;120 the other day however there was a patch of deep scratching in the lid. The MMC6000 will be worn - they almost always are - but the rest could well be fine.
