The problem with mounting anything other than a MMC* cartrifge will be setting the tracking weight. You will need to fashion something appprox' the same weight as the cartridge which won't be easy but good luck if you have a go

Thank you for getting back to me on this. It looks like I'll have to send the cartridge out for a new cantilever, I understand buying a used or old stock MMC is risky. Perhaps I can fabricate an adapter such as a square plastic holder having male MMC sized pins on one side with female p-mount receptacle pins on the other.

No such adaptor due to the lightweight nature of the MMC* cartridges. B&O did produce an adaptor to enable these cartridges to be used on other turntables but not the other way round I'm afraid.

I've a RX turntable with a MMC5 cartridge that I'd like to convert to accept other B&O cartridges or brands of cartridges, preferably p-mount. Is there an adapter available to do this, if so, where can it be obtained? Thank you for your help!
