I am using a Arcam A80 amp, Musical Fidelity X-LPS V3 PreAmp- Monitor Audio speakers-&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sounds like crap- Low volume- distorted-using a recently bought good condition MMC4 Cartridge- &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do I need to use the pre-amp with this system? Really appreciate some help on troubleshooting- &lt;/p&gt;
