the cable has shielded white, shielded red, blue, white, black and yellow cores

The blue and white are not connected

the black is just a flying earth wire

pin 2 earth shields

pin 3 left channel - I assumed to be left channel and connected the white inner of the shielded cable

pin 5 right channel - I assumed to be right channel (right - red) and connected the red inner of the other shielded cable

pin 7 data - yellow

It does work as have tested on an Ouverture and the BG will activate via the remote play button

Have also produced a simple extension ie a 7 pin din female to 2 rca's to use with the BS4 which also works however under manual control ie finger on button

Now to give the vinyl a bending(not literally)

salut

t

NB thanks to all who have offered advice help with this project its taken a long time but eventually I have a achieved a system which works - unfortunately not as I wished - the BS is the master and tv the slave ideally I wanted it the other way round!

Re: BG 3500

Yet another brilliant kidder!

I normally assume red right white lef tso without a test disc it works for me

the data cable yellow and the data earth is the black core however I will try it as a fly lead, then as a ground with fly attached

so based on the attached piece

i suggest the connections

pin2 shield (both cores)ground

pin3 white wrapped core left channel

pin5 red wrapped core right channel

pin7 yellow data

pin6 black data ground (maybe) will verify later!

heres hoping it all works!!

salut
