Thank you Peter, i think it's an electrical problem, as it hasn't been used for ages, i think i'll have to have it checked by an expert cos i haven't got patience to check myself, thanks

You need a record on it for it to spin properly. However if it really did nothing, there may be an electrical problem.

hi, need some help regarding my turntable B&O beogram 4500,made in 1988. a friend gave it to me about 10 years ago as agift, i've never used it,was in my loft, i pluged it to the mains and nothing happend, i was wondering if it only works when it's pluged to a b&o system which i don't have,it came the mmc4 stylus and a Din plug with 7 pins basicly it was never used according to my friend . need some help, or do i have to take it to B&O repair center,because i want to sell it, it's in an excellent condition, any suggestions will be appreciated.
