&lt;p&gt;hoping for some help. My beocenter turntable is playing up. The basic problem is that when a record is placed on it and PH is selected noting happens. It will turn when turn is depressed so the motor and belt are fine. There is a bit of clunking on the cogs if I manually turn the player then sometimes it works reaches the end of the record and returns with a clunk.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My amateur diagnosis would be the cogs underneath have become misaligned??? or out of sync??&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any help would be much appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;
