The first one is the later model with the sloping front. I doubt it is the belt but more likely a corroded contact. Keep pressing it and see if repeated use improves it - or it will need dismantling and cleaning. The light shows the speed selected.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The second 2400 is the pretty earlier square one with the rectangular control button - very nice! &lt;p&gt;I have a problem with my beogram 2400: when I press start sometimes it does not run. I must press, run and 33 to make it work. A small indicator (like a red circle) is also illuminated on the control panel (what does it meens ?).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Help please ! Do I need to change the belt, or is it something else.&lt;/p&gt;
