I have a Beogram 3000 Type 5228 with a broken stylus. It no longer plays in stereo, and the parts of records that are "quiet" do not play correctly. Other than these two things the entire turntable works perfectly, my father obviously took very good care of it. I have done research on this model it apparently it uses an SP12A stylus, and unfortunately no one seems to sell new compatiable stylus for this player. Some people offer reconstruction, but this is being offered at rather high prices and is not guaranteed to fix the problem.

My main question then is if anyone here knows what might be causing these two problems and if anyone possibly has a SP12A type that I could purchase?

Thank you guys for any and all help.

Kevin
