If the problem is sticky old grease, it will probably work pretty OK with no lubrication at all as long as the tracks are clean - the arm carriage mostly just sits on the tracks on its own weight, it&amp;#39;s not a tight fit.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Your problem might also be a stretched servo belt which can&amp;#39;t deliver enough torque to move the arm in little increments (I suppose fast moves are OK?).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Also I noticed all the grease has dried up on the tracking bar. The same thing happened to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;my Technics SL-L20 turntable. I have no clue on what kind of grease to use on both of them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have emailed alot of people and they won&amp;#39;t respond to me as if they want to keep it a secret.&lt;/p&gt;
