Unfortunately, they indeed have been out-of-production for some time now. As it stands, when it comes to old B&amp;O cartridges (possibly even new-old stock ones), their internal suspension tends to disintegrate and fail over time. Fortunately, a company called <a href="http://www.sound-smith.com/cartridges/boall.html">SoundSmith</a> manufactures replacements, which are said to be very good. Their prices range from $149 (the basic SMMC4) to $1599 (the top-of-the-line &quot;The Voice&quot;).
