&lt;p&gt;The platter lifts right up and off. The center tap, hub and spindle remains in the Beogram.&lt;br /&gt;Two flat wooden icecream sticks or similar will sometimes help as levers.&lt;/p&gt;

I need to sell it so I can upgrade, but if I&amp;#39;m going to ship it I want to take it apart so it can ship properly and safely. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to get the &amp;#39;plate&amp;#39; off?
