Also playing is possible at times but most of the time during playback the carriage does not forward, it will get stucked. It will not forward during play and also pressing &lt; is not moving the carriage freely to the left.Funny enough &gt; is working better&nbsp;making reversing the carriage possible.I found out that there is a second motor that is moving the carriage during play and fast forward and there is a feltpad in kind of a &quot;gearbox&quot; that is taking care of movement in both directions.Maybe this has to be taken apart to solve the problem?The rails are covered with fresh grease (lithium) and the fast movement of the carriage that is being handled by the platter mechanism is working flawlessly.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
