&lt;p&gt;Try running a lead from the metal chassis of the BG4000 to the metal chassis of the amplifier, most amplifiers have a fingerscrew&lt;br /&gt;provided for this.&lt;/p&gt;

As such there is now no ground wire connection to suppress the harmonic &lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal;"&gt;HUMMM&lt;/b&gt; this Beogram generates. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

None the less, when checked against the the 4000, my Beogram 4004 produces absolutely NO hum with remarkable music quality. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Then connect a DIN to RCA connector with RCA plugs and a ground cable for my McIntosh 2255 Amp &amp;hellip;. ending my hummm issue.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
