Had never tried as previous owner said i needed a remote.

Doh

Eitther way i would prefer to at least be able to put the needle down somewhere close to a song i wanted to play rather than listen to a whole side to get to the last track for example.

Is there a way of doing this without a remote? if not are there any other decks that have a button that can do this?

Cheers

The stylus drops when you instruct it, either manually or with the remote if you ar using the deck with a B&O datalink system. Only you can see where to drop it, at or near the start of a track!!

Manual search function

Hi,

I picked up a beogram 5005 a couple of months ago and all in all it seems ok.

My problem is that i am using it with a regular amp so i dont have the ability to use a B&O remote, meaning i cant skip tracks.

Not the biggest problem but a bit of a pain so i was wondering if anyone could tell me of a work round for this? Or maybe a list of other tangial decks that can manually search?

cheers
