&lt;p&gt;I have a BG6000 Quad here, which I got without a cartridge.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I put on both my MMC20EN and&amp;nbsp;SMMC2 to test, and I am getting high-frequency distortion (yes, the CD4 switch is OFF). Singers&amp;#39; voices sound scratchy. Instrumentals also sound scratchy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the Service Manual, B&amp;amp;O state that after a cartridge change, the Channel Separation and Carrier Wave Detector must be adjusted again.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Even though these appear to be simple procedures, before I start adjusting any pots, has anyone seen this and gone down this road before, who can offer tips?&lt;/p&gt;
