A good brush is needed. You cannot lubricate the suspension as all that will likely do is weaken the glue and cause catastrophic failure. &lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve been searching on the forum but haven&amp;#39;t really found a good answer yet, so here it goes:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I love spinning records on my old beogram 1100. However, its MMC3000 seems to have had its best time, the sound quality is becoming less good (distortion). Luckily I still have a brand new MMC4000! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;d like to make sure it will last as long as possible, after my MMC3000&amp;#39;s time has come. Who has good advice on keeping it in good condition (except for not using it, of course &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/05.gif" alt="Wink" /&gt;) I found things about trying to lube the suspension to keep it in good condition, anyone who tried this?&lt;/p&gt;
