&lt;p&gt;The BG5000 has no RIAA amplifier, so it is quite normal that you hear almost nothing when connected to a standard input. Which Beomaster do you use?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So where to start?&amp;nbsp; Loose wires in the tonearm?&amp;nbsp; I have the service manual, but I was hoping someone out there would be able to offer some guidance!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also have two non-working BG5000&amp;#39;s for parts.&lt;/p&gt;
