It is 240v 50hz with 12V output. I have checked the service manual on site for the Beogram 1700 but it isn&amp;#39;t there although there is one for the 2200 &amp;amp; derivatives&amp;nbsp;and these appear to&amp;nbsp;use the same spec&amp;#39; tarnsformer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If anyone knows any different then fair enough - I am only going by what is in the service manuals. You are welcome to it for the price of poatage to Oz. Gotta be better than risking &amp;pound;25 plus P&amp;amp;P on ebay&lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/01.gif" alt="Smile" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

have a Beogram 1700 with a blown transformer. Living in Australia, our
mains supply is 240v/50hz. After months of searching I have found a
transformer (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;"&gt;240v/50hz) &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10pt;"&gt;for
a Beogram 1800, on ebay. Will this transformer be compatiblewith my
Beogram 1700. If not how can I get hold of one? Any advice and/or
direction would be appreciated.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
